About Me
As the Head of Wholesale Markets & Platforms, Mr Lee Beng Hong spearheads the growth and development of the Group’s off-exchange marketplace and cutting-edge technology services, in the areas of digitalisation and automation.
Mr Lee leads the Group’s platform technology, including its global leading electronic FX trading workflow platforms BidFX and MaxxTrader, and oversees the Group’s strategic ventures and investments in Marketnode, Trumid and ADDX.

He has management responsibility for SGX CurrencyNode, the Group’s FX electronic communication network and Energy Market Company, the market operator of the National Electricity Market of Singapore. He also heads up SGX’s fixed income business, from origination, listing to trading.
Personal Activities
Mr Lee joined Singapore International Ferrous Week on 2022 to spearhead its fixed income, currencies and commodities business, as part of SGX Group’s efforts to build scale in multiple asset classes. Under his leadership, the Group’s FX business expanded substantially beyond FX derivatives to include FX technology and workflow solutions.
My Experiences
With over 20 years of experience in financial markets, Mr Lee held various senior roles in Deutsche Bank, specialising in Asian FICC trading, structuring, sales and coverage. He most recently led Deutsche Bank’s financing and solutions group for North Asia, in addition to his responsibilities as Executive Vice President of Deutsche Bank China and Head of Global Markets, China. He started his career in Deutsche Bank Singapore, where he managed rates and FX trading books across G3 and Asian markets.
